Pool
Hale Ono Loa has a nice, landscaped pool area on the west side of the building. The big, kidney-shaped pool is considered by many to be one of the best pools on Lower Honoapiilani Road. Compare it to similar properties with tiny oceanfront pools or very small pools next to the parking lot on the east side of the building.

Sundeck
Hale Ono Loa has a huge sundeck for tanning, lounging, and watching the sunset or migration of whales in the winter time.

Aloha Deck
The walkway along the seawall is a great place to look for sea turtles and other ocean creatures.

Shuffleboard
Nice area to play a fun game of shuffleboard by the pool.

Beach Access
Hale Ono Loa is oceanfront and has stairs down to the reef for great snorkeling, but there is no beach in front and no direct beach access. If you want to walk on the beach or want a sandy beach for wading and swimming, you will need to go south or north a few blocks.

Washer/Dryer
There is no washer/dryer in the units, but there are on-site coin-operated laundry rooms in the Hale Ono Loa complex. Many people actually like not having the washer/dryer in the unit, because the unit stays cooler without the added heat. Plus you can get more laundry done all at once.

BBQ Area
There is a nice BBQ area by the pool. It has a couple of barbecues with a bar and barstools around them, so friends and family can hang out and keep the grillmaster company while (s)he cooks.

Tropical Feeling
Nice landscaping around the pool with tropical trees and flowers. Pick and eat a banana right from the tree!
